Show Man

Lincoln pretty much runs the show these days!  I remember thinking Noah was into everything at this age...NOPE!  I cannot leave this kid for a second, I never thought I would have a potty splasher!  These boys keep me running on coffee.  Wouldn't trade these crazy days with these two wild boys!  

After looking at these pictures I realized Linc is partially clothed in all of them, some days we get dressed some days we dont!

Noah wrote and composed his very first song all by himself.  I love this age (minus the fits) hearing what comes out of their mouth and the things they come up with!

ONE

Lincoln is ONE! 

 What a year it has been!  Ten days in the ICU at 6 weeks, not knowing how things would turn out, but we did the only thing we could and that was pray & trust in God.  We thank him everyday that Lincoln is healthy.  We are so blessed with this adorable, sweet, cuddly, always smiling, back arching-fit throwing, brown eyed, Noah loving, LINCOLN!!  

We look forward to his big bash in Ohio in a couple weeks!

Vacation

The boys and I enjoyed a great trip to Ohio for 2 1/2 weeks!  We enjoyed time with family, friends, cousins, and my little sister Allie graduated from high school.  We were happy to see Jared when he joined us for the last half of the trip.  Here are some highlights...

Ten Months!

I cannot believe Lincoln is already 10 months old, still sweet and smiling, but learning how to control all of us!  Babies are so smart and we are falling for it!  

The Good Fight

I typically use this blog for pictures for family to keep up with my boys and mostly because I am not a writer and do not have anything funny to say :) , but I read this scripture again today and it really stuck out to me, I thought I would share it.

"For I am already being poured out like a drink offering, and the time has come for my departure.  I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.  Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will award to me on that day-and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing."  2 Timothy 4:6-8

I can only hope that my life will be described as "walking worthy of the calling with which I was called"  and most importantly that I modeled that to my boys and to those around me.  

NINE

Cannot believe my baby is nine months already!  

Lincoln I love your constant smile, joyful soul, and of course your big brown eyes!!  I love the way you squeal when we have a dance party, the way you constantly laugh at your brother even when he is breaking every single rule, and the way you look at your Daddy!  

We are so blessed with two precious boys!  

Happy Easter!

We enjoyed a wonderful Easter with family and friends and the weather was perfect!  Aside from all of the Easter hype, the baskets, eggs, candy....Jesus is Alive!  So thankful for the hope that His death and resurrection means for our lives.  

Pool days

Today began our first trip to the pool of the season.  Have I mentioned how much I love Florida!??  It felt so good to sit in the hot sun!  As I type this I think Ohio is getting hail, have fun!

It was Lincoln's first time ever in the pool and he enjoyed it.  I didn't get any pictures of him though in his swimsuit...next time.   Noah jumped in the pool about a hundred times and kept swimming back and forth, he had a great time like usual.

We love you so much buddy.  You have such a kind and sweet heart and yet you are the wildest and craziest little boy I know!  Thank you for teaching me so much about myself and life and for keeping me on my toes EVERY single day!  We know God has big plans for you!

SEVEN

Sweet, happy Lincoln is 7 months today!

Slumber Party!

This was the cousins first slumber party all together and probably the last for a while :) I know I am no fun, but I think Jared and I spent the whole evening getting kids to go to bed.

CUPCAKES

Last year I had Noah and my niece Malia make Valentines Day cupcakes...little did I know it was going to be a HUGE hit. Seriously, Noah has asked me probably everyday except for maybe 10 days out of the entire year to look at the cupcake pictures...NO LIE! So we were in desperate need of some new pictures and of course more Valentines Day cupcakes. Maddie and Tyler joined us this year and it was a hit!

6 Months

I cannot believe our baby is 6 months today! Really half a year already. Lincoln you have been such a joy and a blessing to us. Your constant sweet smile and loving stares are a bright spot to everyone who comes in contact with you. I love the way you already adore your wild and crazy brother!

We have learned what it means to truly trust God with you little buddy when we have had no control over your health. This mommy knows that God has big plans in store for you!
