The Wonderful World of Boys

That Little Boy of Mine

Two eyes that shine so bright,
Two lips that kiss goodnite,
Two arms that hold me tight,
That little boy of mine.
No one could ever know how much your coming has meant.
To me you're everything.
You're something heaven has sent.
You're all the world to me.
You climb upon my knee.
To me you'll always be
That little boy of mine.

Monkey See Monkey Do

Noah and I spent a beautiful afternoon at the beach today with friends. Seconds before Noah pulled out this trick he watched one of the older kids do it. He was pretty proud of himself and it showed!
"Look at me Mom!"
Hamming it up!

Playing in the Park

Emily and I decided to take the boys to the park this week to play. We ended up only staying an hour because it is just too HOT to be outside here unless you are in the water!

Loved this picture Noah has a sand beard.
(click on the picture to enlarge)
Noah and his buddy Tyler.
We decided next time were hitting the beach since they played in the sand most of the time.

in
the Shelter of the Most High
will rest

Little Drummer Boy

Just two cute videos of Noah I took this weekend. Our little drummer never misses a beat. Watch closely you will see him checking himself out in the reflection of the oven window.
(sorry you will have to crane your neck I forgot I cant turn this camera while filming)

I got a kick out of this, he just started this. I guess he cannot decide which toy he really wants to play with.

Wink Wink

We love teaching Noah new things and in turn watching him show them off. Lately "showing off" has become one of his favorite things. Here is his newest trick.
(yes I know how horrible my voice sounds)

4th of July

We enjoyed the 4th at a Community Day at a local church where Noah went on his first pony ride and jumped with Daddy for the first time in a bounce house. Then we had our 2nd annual 4th of July party at our house topped off with a slip in slide!

Noah enjoys jumping with Daddy!
Jared shows Noah how to hold on.
He loved it!
Noah's first slip n slide adventure
My patriotic husband (he may kill me for posting this) yes he went down holding the flags
Jared and Travis (our brother in law) high fiving while Adam slides underneath.
Boys will be boys!

What a blessing it is to live in this great country and to have our freedom! I pray that God will bless America and that we His people will stand for truth!
